HELP, WITHOUT THE RUNAROUND
A little help, with care.
Whether something broke or something just feels confusing, you shouldn’t have to figure it out alone.
We’re here to help.
Reach Softlilt Studio, the studio behind Softly Said. You don’t need to sign in to the app to ask for help.
support@softlysaid.appYou can also send a private in-app note. Open You → Settings → Help & getting started → Contact support. Choose a topic and tell us what happened. The app attaches its revision—not your circle’s private words.
Opening an email link prepares a draft; nothing is sent until you choose to send it. Please leave out passwords, sign-in links, invite codes, and private messages from your circle.
YOUR PEOPLE
Getting an invite to open
A circle invite lets you join someone’s circle; it doesn’t install the app. First install Softly Said using the instructions provided to you as a tester. Then open the circle invite on that same iPhone or iPad, or enter its short code in the app’s “Got an invite?” flow.
Have a link that opens here? Use our invite doorway. You’ll create your own account or sign in, see the circle, and choose whether to join.
If a code is expired or a link has been replaced, ask the circle owner for a fresh invite. Don’t post invite links publicly or share account passwords.
YOUR ACCOUNT
Signing in, resetting, or leaving
Use the same email address you used when creating your account. If you’ve forgotten your password, use “Forgot password” in the app. Open the newest email link on the device with Softly Said installed. Expired links need a new request.
This website never asks for your password or recovery token. If a reset link brings you here unexpectedly, return to the app and request a fresh one; please don’t paste it into the invitation form.
Delete an account
Open You → Settings → Account & circles → Delete my account and read the confirmation carefully. Deletion removes your account and connected data, including authored words that may be in someone else’s collection. It is not the same as signing out or uninstalling the app.
Can’t access the account? Email support@softlysaid.app. Never send passwords or email sign-in links as proof of ownership.
A QUIET HEADS-UP
Notifications and sounds
Turn notifications on in Softly Said’s Settings. If you previously declined permission, use the “Open notification settings” button to change it in iOS. Check Focus and notification settings if alerts aren’t appearing.
Private words are not included in notification text. Sender-name previews are optional. In-app sound is separate: check Sound & Feel, your media volume, and Silent Mode. Sounds are never required to enjoy the app.
YOUR COMFORT COMES FIRST
Privacy, boundaries, and safety
Open a member profile or a revealed message, then choose Safety & boundaries to report a concern or block a connection. Read the final confirmation before taking action. Safety controls are never paid extras.
You can also leave a circle or clear your optional feeling signal. These choices don’t require you to explain yourself.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Softly Said is not an emergency, therapy, or crisis-response service.

About the private test
The app is currently available only to invited testers on registered iPhones and iPads. There is no public App Store download or open TestFlight enrollment yet. We’ll replace this notice when a real public link is available.
If you’re already using the standalone preview, it works without the developer’s laptop. Accounts and messages still require an internet connection. To check for compatible updates, open Settings → About & updates → Check for app updates.
Some changes require a new app installation. If an installation says “Unable to install,” ask the test organizer to confirm your device is included in the build.
Plus features are being tested, not sold. No purchase is required to take part in the private test.
